From the President

Hello, and thank you for visiting Golgotha Ministry’s website. We believe in one thing: evangelism. We have decided to dedicate ourselves to several principles that seem to be obvious when communicating this belief in the majesty and sovereignty of our Lord, Jesus Christ. I am convinced that everyone knows Jesus is what he claimed to be. I do not buy this notion that there are any non-believers out there. There are those who simply haven’t figured out how to get into the water. Our world is divided. My country, the U S of A, is completely torn in regards to its left and its right. This experience is not new. It returns to us throughout the decades in its many deceptions, formations, and details. The Devil loves this. He alone builds this. I’ve had enough of it, and so I suggest that we acknowledge a simple command uttered from the lips of Jesus.

“Let the dead, bury the dead… you come with me”.

I have spent more than two decades walking with the men inside the penitentiaries. I count many of them to be my dearest friends. I have sampled their testimonies, tasting their losses and also their resurrections with my own heart. I have seen my own wickedness through the lens of their dispositions. I have also taken this magnified light from these individuals and honed my perception of those around me out here in the free world. We are all due for some sort of healing. I offer this simple phrase….

“He who gets to the peace quickest wins absolutely”.

Do you understand what I am telling you? If you do, then it is a ripe field that beckons you to come with us.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

It is what it claims to be… an experiment. In its briefest and most exact form, it is a modern adaptation of the feeding of the five thousand (Matthew 14:13-21). We simply drown the prisoners in PB&J, milk, and music. We have a modern orchestra, and with these men and women of song, we rip through Motown R&B, blues, and rock numbers and follow it with a worship service. We always have a speaker, sometimes a famous person, sometimes a former prisoner who has returned to encourage the residents to continue their journey of change.

If you want to argue theology or who really is or isn’t saved, well, this thing is probably not for you. Our job is to kick a door open with an extreme dose of love and demonstrate to those behind the door that they are loved, not only by us, but by the one dude who matters the most,

Jesus.

Please join us. Doesn’t matter who you are. You’re not a believer, you say…. Hah! We’ll see about that. Husbands and wives come on… the freakiest date night you’ll ever go on. Are you lost, feeling nothing?... You are perfect.

In the warmest regards, you are hereby invited to break bread and have your fingers, face, and heart sticky with peanut butter, jelly, and the word.
